I found the cleanliness of the common areas lacking, concerning. There was a strange smell in my room that detracted from my overall comfort. The staff's communication was not reassuring. They seemed indifferent to my complaints about the state of the facilities.

A safe box, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a mini bar fridge in the room and the comfortable bed. The views over street. Good and magnificent location to Gloria metro station, and 20 min walking distance to Praia da Esplanada Verde. And adjacent to Copacabana.

Great and magnificent location, relatively close to Marina da Gloria. Thoroughly enjoyed great area.

The bed was comfortable, it's close to Santos Dumont Airport, and the shower was great.

It's in a poor location, in area that is unsafe at night.

my stay here was fantastic since it's just a short walk from landmarks like Escadaria Selaron and the Municipal Theater, while also being close to good pockets of greenery like Glória Park, making it perfect for weekend strolls.

Not the best hotel, but reasonably ok for the over priced Rio. They could put some shelfs in bathroom.

The location offers a great balance, close to both vibrant areas and public transport. The breakfast had charming options that lifted the morning mood, while the room service provided surprisingly delicious and reasonably priced meals. The room felt sparsely appointed, the wifi was slow, and the bathroom had an overpowering smell of disinfectant that detracted from the overall comfort.

The staff was very nice

The facility was worn, in a state of dis repair and seemed to be a bit unclean. Need renovation. For the cost, we believe we could have chosen a better hotel.

The Diamond Hotel is conveniently located near a Metro stop, which made it very easy to travel around town. The rooms were very big, and air conditioned, and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was fantastic - the fruit was wonderful and they even had waffles!

A few of the staff at the front desk were less than helpful when we had questions about places to go in the city. We also spotted a few roaches in the room the first day!

I had a very comfortable stay with excellent breakfast and a spacious room, but the bathroom could use some upkeep. I’d definitely choose this place again!

Convience to Downtown and the Metro. Close to Flamengo park for running.

The street at night is a little dodgie. Prostitutes near the hotel.

Nice big room, huge bathroom, with huge jacuzzi style bat. Handy location just 5 mins walk to Gloria metro station.

Nice big room with 3 beds, however, there is only 1 electric socket for the whole room, and none of my adapters fitted. I had to use the shaving socket. There was no information in the room about services available, including the fact that water in the fridge is not free and that a small bag of laundry is going to cost you about R$100 (€37). Even on the 10th floor, the noise bad too.
